Tin Barn is a partnership of friends and vineyard owners all with a connected passion for celebrating the idea of sharing fine wine.
Tin Barn was launched in 2000 when winemaker and partner, Mike Lancaster, fled the corporate banking world in Toronto, to follow his passion for fine wine. Having studied at UC Davis and with some internships at some prestigious wineries, Tin Barn was borne. And much like the real “Tin Barn Road” the path has been steep and the views incomparable. Mike has forged long term relationships with growers from some of the best vineyard sites in Sonoma, providing him with consistency, quality and often just small quantities that any given wine can be a few hundred cases. Each vineyard has been selected for its unique “terroir” for the varietal that suits it best from Sauvignon Blanc to Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Enjoy these wines in a casual setting with friends.
