You only have one chance to maintain your soil and vines; treat them like they can live forever.
Stoller Family Estate has been at the forefront of leadership in premium winemaking and sustainable environmental practices. In 2006, they became the world’s first LEED Gold certified winemaking facility. They are also B Corp certified, LIVE certified sustainable, Salmon Safe partners and Oregon Tilth. To say that Stoller Family Estate is committed to ensuring the business can last for the next 200 years (and beyond) is putting it mildly.
Winemaker Melissa Burr, and her team, produce elegant wines that reflect the individuality of the 160ha site, the largest contiguous vineyard in Oregon’s Dundee Hills. The vineyard is divided into 109 meticulously farmed sections which include 16 different Pinot Noir clones and 5 different Chardonnay clones. Harvest and winemaking are meticulously controlled – fruit is hand-harvested into small bins, hand-sorted and every vineyard block is fermented separately in the gravity-flow winery. These are beautiful, elegant wines to be enjoyed with great company and seasonally prepared dishes.
