Owners Niels and Bimmer will tell you that they started Castoro Cellars in 1983 with a backwards approach. First, they made and sold the wine; then they purchased their own equipment; then the winery and tasting room before purchasing and planting vineyards.  Every step was thoughtful, deliberate and done in a sustainable fashion allowing them over time to build a very successful business.  Their Raywood brand was created to offer customers an easy-going style of wine, hand-crafted from select vineyard sites, offering unparalleled quality and value.  These are great wines to share with family and friends in a very social and fun environment.
