In 2012, Odette Estate, became the 3rd member of the PlumpJack Group of wineries. Located in Stags Leap District AVA the small 18ha estate would quickly see several renovations with the caves being updated and retrofitted, the vineyards replanted and converted to 100% organic farming, now certified under CCOF, and in 2017 a brand-new LEED Gold certification winery was opened.
Winemaker, Andrew Haugen has been continuously honing his craft for the past eight years progressing from enologist to assistant winemaker and now in charge of winemaking operations at both Odette and Adaptation. Odette is a fabled princess, a mistress and a judge. These three characters are meant to symbolize the wine produced on the estate by Andrew and his team, embodying the femininity, strength, and power of the three ladies. The inaugural 2012 vintage earned a perfect 100 points by The Wine Advocate in 2015. These luxury wines are made for very special occasions.
