Contemporary Australian wines with balance and restraint but delivering serious depth and character.
Heartland was created in the late 1990s by esteemed Barossa winemaker, Ben Glaetzer. The source of the fruit is the cool climate region of Langhorne Creek, 60km south-east of Adelaide. This region, which is the second oldest continuous growing region in Australia and boasts the oldest living Cabernet Sauvignon vines registered anywhere in the world at over 140 years. It's been the source for many of Australia’s most iconic red wines.
The vines are farmed sustainably, and the wines are certified by Vegan Australia. Heartland take their environmental impact seriously, whether this be the reintroduction of native species and indigenous trees and grasses, stringent water controls, the use of goats in the vineyards or creating a haven for native fauna, every aspect is carefully considered. But it is the end result that matters. The moment you open a bottle of Heartland to discover all those sensations, the aromas, the texture, the flavours. Enjoy these wines while listening to your favourite music, creating a touch of magic in the kitchen or quietly contemplating the great people in your life.
