TIN ROOF CELLARS, Central Valley
Some days it seems like we’re the only stable relationship in the Tin Roof sphere… Introduced in 2003 by Murphy-Goode Winery as an entry-level line, Tin Roof became part of the Kendall-Jackson family when they bought M-G in 2006. A few years later, Tin Roof was adopted by O’Neill Vintners; committed to developing the quality and potential of the original concept. Today, the wines are better than ever.
From a combination of estate-grown and purchased fruit, Tin Roof is always fresh, never heavy-handed. Winemaker Mark Rasmussen has 35 years of experience working with fruit from the Lodi, Central Coast and North Coast regions. Jeff O’Neill established O’Neill Vintners in 2004, and quickly grew to be one of the ten largest wineries in the US, with 15,000 acres of vineyard owned or contracted. They have the resources to create remarkably consistent, thoroughly enjoyable, uncomplicated wines.
